Reading Between the Lines focuses on reading comprehension, learning to appreciate a variety of literary works, developing effective writing skills, and increasing vocabulary. The thrust of the program is predominantly on character development, universal themes, and the progression of a narrative work. Text-based interactive assignments called "You Try Its," which can be submitted directly to the teacher, are an innovative feature of this program.
