A small but worthy site that delves into all the work it takes to care for the President.

  • Ground Zero — The Atomic Tourist
    owlowlowlowl__Visit http://www.conelrad.com/groundzero/greenbrier.html
Check It Out! The Eisenhower Administration commissioned the TOP SECRET building of enormous underground bunker called "Project Greek Island" in 1957. The bunker was located in rural West Virginia under the Greenbrier Hotel (that's right, under the hotel!). The bunker could house the entire United States Congress for years in the event of nuclear war. It housed sleeping quarters for all senators and their families, had an underground lake, oxygen generators, and tons of frozen food. The bunker was put on RED ALERT during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. The bunker remained a secret until 1992, when the Washington Post released an exclusive story. You can now take guided tours of the bunker; one of America's most closely guarded secrets.

  • Tour of Camp David
    owlowl______Visit http://home.earthlink.net/~vpnelson/CDHistory/

This presidential retreat located in Maryland serves as the President's home away from home. Camp David includes a golf course, pool, horse trail, and even a heliport. The Camp David tour allows you to witness some of the more personal moments in the Presidents' lives.
