Ordering a program package online

Schools may select program packages for either middle school or high school use. To be eligible for package pricing, schools are required to purchase for the full enrollment of their institution for any one grade level. (To subscribe to Beyond Books programs for a limited number of students, please see "Ordering individual program titles online.")

  1. To order a program package, click on "Subscribe to BB" and then choose "Middle School Packages" or "High School Packages" to access the appropriate order form.

  2. At the top of the order form, select the grade level, then enter the total enrollment for the grade for this school year.

  3. From the list of options, select the check box(es) beside the item(s) you wish to subscribe to. You may subscribe to full access to all Beyond Books programs, or choose one or more academic disciplines. Click on "Calculate" at the bottom of the form to view your current total. (There is a $250 minimum purchase for school orders.)

  4. When you have completed your selections, click on "Continue" at the bottom of the order form.

  5. On the next screen, enter your name, e-mail address, and telephone number. Then enter a user name and password for yourself. You will use these to log in during your visits to Beyond Books. Please choose a password that is private and that you can remember. Your password must have at least five characters and is case sensitive (that is, to log in you must enter your password exactly as you enter it here, with upper- or lower-case characters as needed). Your user name must have at least three characters.

  6. Next, select or enter a password hint question. This hint will help us retrieve your information and allow you to reset your password if you forget it. You may either choose one of our standard hint questions or write your own question. To protect your access, make sure your answer is memorable for you but hard for others to guess.

  7. Enter your school's zip code at the bottom of this screen. We'll check our records to see if we already have information about your school.

  8. Click on "Continue" to proceed.

  9. On the next screen, a list of schools already in our database will appear. If your school is on the list, click on the button beside your school's name. If your school does not appear, please select "My school does not appear in the list above." Click on "Continue to Next Page" to proceed.

  10. On the next screen, verify or enter your school's address, telephone number, grade level, and school type. Click on "Continue to Next Page" to proceed.

  11. A summary screen containing your subscription information will appear.

  12. To complete your order, you must agree to our Terms of Use. Click on the link "Terms of Use" to read the document. To proceed, select the check box to indicate that you have read and agree to the Terms of Use.

  13. At this point, you may either complete your order online with a credit card or print a requisition form and send it to us via fax or mail. Click on "Generate a Requisition Form" to create a requisition form suitable for printing. For additional information, please see "Ordering via fax or mail."

  14. To complete your order online with a credit card, click on "Proceed with Credit Card Purchase."

  15. On the next screen, enter your credit card information and mailing address, then click on "Proceed with Credit Card Purchase." (This is a secure transaction from VeriSign®.)
