Querido Karl, ¡Hola! I'm in Segovia, about 53 miles from Madrid. We drove under the Guadarrama Mountains through a tunnel to get here! There are so many beautiful sights to see, such as the famous castle El Alcázar, the medieval-looking city walls, and the 16th-century cathedral. What impressed me most is the 2000-year-old Roman aqueduct. It's the biggest and best-preserved aqueduct anywhere! I can't believe they used it to carry water throughout the whole city. They must have really loved their baths!
Hasta luego. Tu hermana,
P.S. Don't the snowcaps make you want to hit the slopes!?
